Our In-House Engineering and Drafting Team efficiently provides solutions for any Heavy Timber or Glulam Structures or CLT. We also offer a Full Time Field installation crew that can Ensure your project is installed in a timely manner.

Gore Meadows

COMPLETED: 2013 CONSTRUCTION VALUE: Supply & Install $1.1 Million SPECIES: Alaskan yellow cedar – prefinished General Contractor: Aquicon ARCHITECT: Zas Architects ENGINEER: Yolles Scope: This project features the installation of Alaskan yellow cedar Eastern facade.

Bruce Peninsula Trail

COMPLETED: 2005 CONSTRUCTION VALUE: Supply & Install $600,000 SPECIES: Douglas Fir ARCHITECT: Shore, Tilbe and Irwin ENGINEER: Yolles Scope: This project features the main Glulam Douglas fir framing structure of the visitor center and exhibit building. Also, an observation tower 65 feet in height using Douglas Fir Heavy Timber.

SPECIES: Douglas Fir DESIGN & ENGINEERING: Bryte Designs Scope: A complete structural engineering service: foundation, steel and timber frame, structural specifications, shop drawings and site reviews.

Milton Sport Centre

COMPLETED: 2012 CONSTRUCTION VALUE: Supply & Install $650,000 SPECIES: Douglas Fir GENERAL CONTRACTOR: Ball construction ARCHITECT: BBB Architects ENGINEER: Halcrow Yolles Scope: This project features a Glulam/Steel hybrid trusses almost 100ft span. Also, a 2” x 6” tongue and groove Spruce pine deck.

ABOUT US

Founded in 1999 by Joseph P.Eng along with brother Anwar Seif, Bryte Designs pride themselves in providing solutions and expertise in the fields of Structural Engineering, Architecture, Design and Installation.

We are based in Toronto, but have completed and continue to work on projects world-wide.

Joseph Seif:

Joseph is a structural engineering graduate from the University of Toronto, with an engineering consultant designation. He brings a professional perspective to all of our projects, and is focused on efficiency, as well as advances in building technologies.

Anwar Seif:

Anwar’s discipline is architectural technology. He oversees the projects from the planning stage to its final successful execution for all parties involved.
